Consultations
Consultations offer families a focused opportunity to get thoughtful, informed answers to specific questions about their child's development, diagnosis, treatment, or educational path. They are a valuable resource at any stage, whether a family is just beginning to navigate a new diagnosis, seeking a second opinion, working through the special education process, or planning ahead for an important transition.
During a consultation, Dr. Robokos meets with parents or guardians to review the child's developmental, medical, educational, and psychosocial history, along with any past evaluations or relevant reports. From there, she provides clear answers to the family's questions and offers recommendations regarding next steps, whether that involves further treatment options, additional evaluation, or connections to appropriate referral sources.
Consultations are available on an ongoing basis and can be requested at any point as a child grows and circumstances evolve. Many families return at key transition points, such as the start of kindergarten, the move to middle or high school, changes at home, relocation, or any moment when new questions arise about the best path forward.
Dr. Robokos also provides consultations internationally, working with families across Europe, Asia, and Africa to support educational planning, therapeutic decision-making, and evaluation processes from wherever they are.
